Update, October 2017.

Currently finishing PhD in screen studies, co-editing a new online poetry and art journal WILLAWAW and co-editing a new volume with Barbara Sellers-Young for Palgrave Macmillan titled: ‘Narrative in Performance’.

I am reading my poetry at the Salem Poetry Project, Willamette Writers group and as part of the Artists in Action group. Theatre is eluding me at present but I am open to possibilities!

As a researcher and director I work in three distinct areas;
1) I have presented and published numerous papers, articles and chapters on a more spiritual approach to actor training.
2) I have developed the use of theatre as a tool for change, a tool for communication and a tool for education through LabAct.

3) I have written and developed several plays, Fighting the Light, staged reading at Door 3, Words in Winter, Daylesford, VIC 2014. Elephant’s Graveyard, produced at the Mondavi Centre for Performing Arts, CA,  Enter Madmen  (inspired by Herman Hesse’s Steppenwolf) was produced at Colorado College 2003 and Fighting the Light was selected for development at the Australian National Playwrights Conference 2005.

I am available as a group facilitator using theatre and creative writing to resolve heal and communicate a wide varieties of issues and concerns, for example: youth issues, aging, sexual harassment, depression.
